I've got so much apple picking going on that I can't preserve as fast as I pick. It's an awesome problem to have.
With the next 14 pounds of apples picked I made applesauce, just sweetened a wee bit to taste, and with added cinnamon. These apples were a little less juicy but had great flavor, so whatever, I added more water to the sauce when I returned it back to the pot to boil.

Same drill as the the crabapple sauce. I ended up with 6 pints and about a pint for the freezer.
If you like applesauce, try making your own. It'll be better than anything you've bought from the store.
