Some of my final pre-winter barters are coming together. A friend of mine who had an excess of garden spinach in her hoop house traded me a large bag of it for a pint of my pear syrup. I do have 8 sandwich baggies of frozen spinach from my April's harvest, but I could never have too much of it kept for winter. And my raised beds with fall spinach are not near ready for harvest. This was a perfect trade as you know I don't need all that pear syrup!
Same as with my April spinach, I blanched and froze this batch. Now I have an additional 3 frozen bags of the good stuff.
