Last winter while hiking with friends Jen and John in the woods, we came upon an area full of black raspberry canes. So you know I put that on my spreadsheet. Tonight was picking time. Hazards of picking wild black raspberries in the woods? Glad you asked. In no particular order, here they are: mosquitos, wasps, poison ivy, thorns, wasps, ticks, snakes, and wasps.
I came home with a half pound for the freezer. And that's not all I came home with. Apricots!
